December 3rd – Christmas lunch at The Mill at Gordleton, Hordle, Hants. SO41 6DJ (between New Milton & Lymington)
This has been something of a challenge to come up with a new venue for you to try out. Out of my list of seven different places, I think I have come up with somewhere you will enjoy. It is a restaurant and hotel, where I have eaten on a number of occasions, so I know the food is good. It is set in some lovely gardens with a river running through it. They offer a traditional turkey lunch in December, as well as other options (see here). The 3 course meal is £24.95 which I think is excellent value for money ( and certainly the most reasonable amongst those I looked at more closely).
