I am working on finding a nice pub between Wareham and Swanage where we can have lunch first and then go on to having a ride on the Award Winning Swanage Railway, with the option to have a wander around Swanage before returning on the railway to our cars at Norden, where the train starts. Swanage Railway is considered to be one of the best steam railways – and has been rebuilt from nothing since 1976, with almost 30 years taken to relay the track alone– see more info here
