Once again several of us made a weekend of the show at Bodelwyddan, by driving to North Wales on Friday or Saturday and spending time in the sunshine around the area. In the evening we all came together for our meal at Harvey’s American Diner in Llandudno. Since the first year we went there, we have increased from one table to three tables this year, with 20 of us all together enjoying the varied menu. Derek and Jenny Harrison joined us for the first time as new members.
We made a small convoy of 5 cars leaving Llandudno at 8.15 Sunday morning and picked up 2 more cars on the way. We were directed to a popular position in the wonderful grounds of the castle. The remaining 8 cars joined us as we set up our display stand, making 15 in total which is the largest number of cars we have displayed at Bodelwyddan to date.
The weather was good to us throughout the day, although quite windy at times. Several cars joined in the arena events and good banter was exchanged with the commentator as we all supported each other.
