We spent our individual time around the area during the day on Saturday, while rain threatened but didn’t arrive and there were sunny intervals. Once again we all came together at 7.00pm at Harvey’s American Diner in Llandudno for the evening, where 18 of us in total enjoyed the New York style grill menu.
Undeterred by the weather, we set out from Llandudno in a small convoy of 6 cars to Bodelwyddan Castle. We set up quickly, with each of us hanging on to the event shelter so that it didn’t blow away! We were joined by a further 5 cars, then the rain gave way to sunshine and it turned out to be a pleasant day with gusty winds. 3 – 4 cars joined in the various arena events and plenty of banter was exchanged with the commentator as we all supported each other over the day.
