This month we visited the Gloucestershire Vintage and Country Extravaganza, held at South Cerney Airfield.
The show has been running for over 40 years and was originally conceived for steam enthusiasts, but now includes a huge array of exhibits.
This year nearly 700 classic cars from pre and post war, including over 70 classic American, plus 230 motorbikes and scooters, 70 bicycles from 1903-1980, 90 stationary engines, 70 full size steam engines, 200 tractors, 80 buses and coaches, 120 military vehicles plus commercial and industrial vehicles.
A live arena featured non-stop demonstrations and a countryside arena included dog shows and falconry displays
With plenty to see it was very enjoyable day even if did take over a hour to get out of the car park.
