The Manchester Classic Car Show is a two day spectacular with 90 club stands on display. Being an indoor show, both exhibitors and the visiting public enjoy the fact that it is warm and dry!
There was a wide range of makes and ages of cars, from every decade from 1950s to our own modern classics of the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s. Outside there was another great attraction too – a very thrilling and noisy historic rally car competition, including Volvo, Escort and Peugeot cars.
We displayed 9 cars this year: Rob Beevers’ silver Roadster, Janet Neild’s red Mk2, Nik Milford’s white Mk1, Pete Russell’s candy apple red Mk1, David Blackburn’s white Mk2, Mike Jackson’s red Mk1, Ian Howe’s white Mk1, Sticker Dave’s green Mk2 and my own red Mk2 completing the set.
Once again the public enjoyed our stand and we had plenty of visitors coming on to chat, ask advice and admire our cars. We signed up one new member and also had a few membership enquiries too.
A big Thank You to all the members for bringing their fantastic cars to this event, as we appreciate that it is a massive commitment over three days.
