This month’s meeting was held at the British Motor Museum at Gaydon.
The museum collection contains 300 cars. The base of the collection is made up of British Leyland cars, along with niche producers such as Land Rover and Jaguar, as well as mainstream producers from the past such as Austin and Morris. Some Ford and Vauxhall models are also on display.
Beside the main building is a store called the Collections Centre, that houses 250 cars from the reserve collections of the British Motor Industry Heritage Trust and the Jaguar Daimler Trust.
The museum and collection centre are well worth a visit.
